Donate to the Campaign.
Individuals may contribute a maximum of $1,200 to a single candidate. This includes the value of any goods or services donated to the campaign. Any contribution of money must come directly from the contributor. You must include your name and address with your donation. Please also include your email address and/or phone number in case we need to follow up.
Contributions greater than $25 may not be made in cash. All contributions above $25 must be made by cheque, money order, or by a method that clearly shows where the funds come from, such as electronic e-transfer.
Contribution Rebate Program Eligibility
A minimum contribution of $25.01 is required to be eligible for the payment of a rebate.
The following formula is used to calculate rebates to individuals who have contributed to participating candidates:
- If the contribution by an individual to a candidate is $25 or less, there is no rebate for that contribution;
- If the contribution by an individual to a candidate is equal to or greater than $25.01 and not more than $100, the rebate is 50% of the total contribution;
- If the contribution by an individual to a candidate is greater than $100, the rebate is $50 plus 25% of the amount by which the contribution exceeds $100; and
- The maximum rebate to an individual may not exceed $75.
