Displaced Persons or Underdog Contributors to Canada

My book presentation and reading is the headliner act for this Edmonton event which will include participation by Orysia and Vadym Olijnyk, whose book Ukrainian Sugar Beet Immigrants tells a story of escape, building a new life and contributing to Canada by many Ukrainian families and individuals after WWII. Their book was an important resource for me and my aunt Raya in writing Standing with Underdogs.
